I would like to say that my initial experience with the Martinez location was absolutely horrible! I called to get information about the menu and was told that I could not do that. The manager was put on the phone to "assist" me and she hung up in my face after saying we dont fax menus. I called back, and asked her why did she hang up on me, she said, "you didn't say anything and rudely hung up on me again! I called once again to get the managers name, and she told me that she did not need to give me her name. I asked if she was afraid that she would get in trouble if she gave me her name and her response to me was, "I am trouble, and I'm not afraid of it"!!! Just based on the telephone service I recieved, I would NEVER patron this restaraunt. I know that Country Waffles has good food because I have eaten at the Concord location, but service means the most to me. After this treatment, I will NEVER eat at Country Waffles again.

My wife & I went to Country Whaffle this morning. As usual we enjoyed the food. Yes, the service can be a little slow at times but on a Sun. who cares? My wife had the All American Breakfast, loved it & also enjoys the Skillet meal. Me. I love a tuna sandwich well done hash browns & a side of brown gravy for my taters. Different I know but I like it. Any guest that comes here & stays at our house we take them to C. Whaffles.

Lovely place for breakfast. Every dish is good there. Even though their name is Country Waffles, the skillets are where they really shine. You can't go wrong with any of them. Service mostly good, though sometimes it can be slow. It is VERY obvious that regulars get much better service than those who drop in occasionally. (great if you're a regular, but very bad if you're not) Food: 8 Service: 6 Ambiance: 8 Overall: 8

Our favorite local breakfast place - even our parents love it! Sometimes eggs over medium was more like eggs over easy, and sometimes the hash browns were too greasy. But the country potatoes and scrambed eggs are always good. The service is excellent: prompt and attentive, experienced waitresses.
Recommended: All American Breakfast (corned beef hash and bacon, buttermilk pancakes), the Skillets, Swedish Pigs in a Blanket
