Unbelievable Prime Rib
I have heard from many people over the past several years that Coombs Tavern has the best prime rib in the area. I finally tried it for myself while Christmas shopping in the York area. I agree 100% that it is the most tender flavorful prime rib I have ever had. I was so impressed, that when friends asked me where we can get a bite to eat before the George Carlin show on Saturday night, I immediately said - Coombs Tavern for prime rib. Can't wait!

Forget $$$$ Ruths Chris $$$$
Why spend a forune on a GREAT steak! I first visited Coombs on a recommendation from my dad. Since then, I've taken many people there. Now they're doing the same! Small, comfortable restaurant with exceptional service. Going on a weekend? Get a reservation! It's packed for a reason....An EXCELLENT meal!!!

The Best Prime Rib
Must eat restaurant. Dollar drafts all day, every day. The best prime rib around. Great prices and incredible food.

My New Favorite Eatery
I've never had prime rib as delicious and well prepared as Coombs offers. the service was wonderful, and the environment was quite friendly. I was even told "goodbye" from our waiter. There's a reason why you have to make a reservation on Fri/Sat evenings: everybody wants to dine there. We are reccomending Coombs Tavern to all of our friends. Thank you for a terrific dinner!
