| We are all born mad. Some remain so.Words are all we have.
All I know is what the words know, and dead things, and that makes a handsome little sum, with a beginning and a middle and an end, as in the well-built phrase and the long sonata of the dead.
Nothing matters but the writing. There has been nothing else worthwhile. I couldn't have done it otherwise. Gone on, I mean. I could not have gone through the awful wretched mess of life without having left a stain upon the silence.

I was passing by this restaurant the other day. There are a couple of tables right outside the restaurant.

I saw a girl eating a bowl of something that looked very good. I asked her what she was eating and she said "Rockin' Moroccan Bowl." I decided to try it out. The price was somewhere under $9.

Am I glad that I tried! It was spicy, hearty and delicious. It came with two sticks of soy nuggets. Their taste and texture were as good as meat. I shared one bowl with my husband and we were both satisfied.

The service was friendly, but not very attentive. People in front of us were ordering to-go and I think the servers forgot about my bowl. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I went in and asked about it. They then brought it out, but this bowl was worth a little bit of the wait.

I visited the LA Tofu Festival in Little Tokyo for the first time this year. It was amazing. The food portions were small but they were cheap, so I could afford to taste variety of dishes. I got stuffed after about 3 dishes but they were all good. They also gave out many free samples (tofu steak, fried tofu, fuze drink, some other drink, etc).
Items from the Taste of Asia stand.

Tofu and cucumber Salads from the Taste of Asia stand (after I had a few bites). For $1 extra, I also got a bottle of chilli sauce to take home.

One food stand among many.

Tofu Shu Mai and some type of tofu patties. The patties were really tasty.

Tofu pizza. (I think it's called Okonomiyaki in Japan)

Tofu steak dogs.

Some Thai-style tofu dishes.

There were a lot more food. I am definitely going back next year.
