The choices are creative and plenty. The ambience is alternative. It's a great place for a casual sit out with a friend or for some serious working or studying. They could however work more on their food choices.

Good Coffee
Best atmosphere in Cupertino, OK food.

Coffee Society has by far the best atmosphere in the Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Mountain View area. Coffee is good but they sometimes serve day old pastries.

Coffee Society is probably the hippest coffee shop in the South Bay outside of San Jose. The huge crowds from the height of the coffee craze have somewhat dispersed, but they still draw a large and diverse crowd. Motorcycle enthusiasts, punk rockers, college students and silicon valley professionals all gather in and around Coffee Society. The coffee's good too. The people at the counter are friendly and helpful. There's a bookshelf with reading material and people sometimes play board games. I bring my grandma there once a week. She comments on the gathered motorcyclists, but professes to liking Coffee Society.
