Went in on Sep 20, 2006, because I was hungry for a steak and there aren't many steakhouses in Port Orchard. I waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to appear, even though there were only six other diners in the building. I gave her my order and she did return promptly with my salad. I was eating and looking at a catalogue and didn't notice until about 3/4 of the way through that the salad was brown. So I sat that aside and she picked up the saucer. My meal arrived shortly after and I had ordered a steak, Med Well. My first bite was dry. I didn't think too much about it because it was a thin piece of the steak and obviously got too close to the flame for too long. I continued to eat. The vegetables were great; nice and hot, seasoned just right. My baked potato was lukewarm -- just warm enough to sort of melt the butter. My sauteed shrimp were also lukewarm. But, there was no waitress to complain to, so I kept eating. My steak was cooked Well and it was also dry. I finally gave up. Still no waitress until I was finished trying to eat. She brought me the bill, asked me if I wanted dessert, and left. When I went to the register to pay, the friendly lady there asked me if everything was good and I told her it was okay. She said, "Just okay?" and I agreed. Then she asked me what was wrong and I told her and she said, "Well, did you tell your server?" And I explained that there had been no server to tell and what would she have done, taken my plate back so the cook could nuke it to heat it?

Needless to say, it was not one of my best dining experiences. I could have gone to Skippers and had a much better, hotter meal and the wait staff is more attentive. I've been to this restaurant about 4 different times and each time the wait staff's attention span seemed to disappear after they delivered your food. No, I will not be recommending the Clubhouse Grill to my friends and I doubt I will go back there voluntarily.

I liked it
I've always had an enjoyable time there. The bar staff in the rear of the restaurant made an effort to remember my drinks after only two visits. Always friendly. The clientele were the only negative aspects of my visits. Stay away from the meatloaf. Everything else was very good.

Always a great visit
I have been to this restaurant about 6 times and every time I go there the service has been really good. The Hostess greets you in a timely fashion and we are always greeted with a smile. We are given enough time to decide what we want and our orders are always hot when we get them. I have unfortunately burned the roof on my mouth more than once because of this. I hope to go there again real soon!

Processed food
This establishment has failed each of the three times we have been customers. Their food is not fresh and their staff is not attentive or interested in service to the customer. We tried to give them three chances, and we went away unsatisfied each time. We will not be back.

Bad service
I have always found this restaurant to lack in the area of customer service. The staff seem to be content with letting hot food sit on the counter, ignoring guests, and making people feel like they are unwelcomed. After a few attempts at this restaurant I have come to the conclusion that yes, you may be able to order food, but forget it being accompanied with any level of customer service.
