Cheap Chinese Food -- No Rudeness Allowed!
The menu isn't quite as exotic as I'd like, but given it's a small town, I can forgive that. The food was excellent, and far less expensive than you'd expect. The service is reasonably good, but just don't get on the Hostess' bad side. I have to recommend the Chicken balls. In most chinese restaurants, you get 75% dough and 25% minced chicken. That's sort of what I expected when I ordered it for the kids. I didn't know what to make of it when the kids said that the chicken was "weird". When I looked, guess what. Their chicken balls use real chicken and there's very little batter. We adults had other dishes as well, but I especially liked their Cantonese low mein, which I understand is their house specialty. The store is pretty plain, with some chinese ornamentation. Unfortunately, the exterior could use some work. It's red and white siding just don't say "Chinese Restaurant" and the business sign is pretty hard to see. Good location, right on the main Ridgeway strip. The plain exterior makes them hard to find though, unless you know what to look for.
