Chameli is excellent!
We ate dinner at Chameli and were delighted by the food, service and decor. The saag paneer and tandoori chicken were excellent. The naan was great. We capped the night with tasty mango ice cream. The decor was very elegant (recently remodelled). We met the friendly owner who showed us the banquet facilities. Great place to throw a bash or for catering!

Incredibly Flavorful Food!
2/19/2004 - My husband and I are fairly new vegetarians (just over 1-1/2 years) and we just love the food at Chameli. Unbelievable the wonderful flavor of everything we ate with NO meat! Imagine that! Whatever we ate was delicious, especially the samosas and the garlic naan bread. We even enjoyed an Indian beer. Also, Chameli serves non-vegetarian food as well. You want food packed with incredible flavor, go to Chameli!!
Recommended: Samosas, Garlic or Plain Naan Bread, Basmati Rice and Mustard Greens (There's so many, but I can't remember the names)

Chameli serves excellent vegetarian North Indian food. Try the samosas (ask for mango powder on them) -- you'll never find them better elsewhere. Everything on the menu is delicious, with the possible exception of the taro. Waiters Alan and Niki are quite friendly -- they'll know your name the second time they see you. Chameli has live Indian clasical music on Friday nights.
