Chaco Canyon: Sweet place to escape the Urban Swirl of Seattle
Great chef, cooking up veggies, juicing some great juices, serving hot tea and espresso pouring real kindness by the cup. I pulled off here while the traffic snarled and roared on the TAX DAY April 15... one spring afternoon just after a little shower and a killer work week... Atmosphere is relaxed southwest, warm sunbaked tile window seat area. Golden walls surround oak tables and quirky looking chairs I think came from a hotel or school --- they had little hooks on the sides, and the backs are built to give support to a tired suit jacket like mine... It's in the university District of Seattle,and though it could be painfully hip (read college hipsters) this ol yippie thought she could live here if she just didnt have to be to work on monday... come and visit... you might just stay.
