Shocking to find a restaurant in Merrillville this great. Went with a group from work and all 12 of us were very impressed. It was crowded on a Tuesday night so reservations would be helpful.

One of my favs
A little pricy but worth it this gem tucked into a strip mall known as Ross Plaza. Linen table cloths, nice size portions, good service, daily specials. Try the risottos.

The food and desserts here are better than some places in Chicago's little Italy. We've gone there three times and tried beef, chicken, pasta, risotto and were pleased with each trip. The chopped tomato in olive oil is a fantastic start to your dining experience.
