Bridal Shower Excellence
Decor, wait staff perfect and treated all guest with the utmost care. The chicken with lemon and capers was superb...others raved about the fish and pasta meals they chose - devine chocolate dessert. I wish I lived closer to this excellent restaurant!!

Wonderful
We had one of the best meals. We love to come to Cafe Elise , but it is a long drive from Merrillville, Indiana. But it is worth it. We will come back again.A lovely place to have Lunch.We have to try it at night.

Excellent relaxed fine dining
A fine restaurant tucked into a small strip mall just off Ridge Road in Munster, IN. Wide meal selection to even the most discerning palette. A small jewel with just the right amount of ambiance.

The experience at this cafe was very European in all respects; cannot save enough about the service and the attention was only out done by the food at the preparation .... My wife and son loved it and I look forward to going very shortly! Your humble diner , John Mc Gowan p.s. The only bad thing to happen were two idiots with cell phones [ walkie talkie type] were disturbing to us as to themselves ; poor manners and small people ...

This area's finest!!!
Cafe Elise was great with my "last minute" request to cater a small holiday gathering - even down to the packaging of all the food to go!! The food was delicious. The soup -- superb!!!! The tomazzo salad was wonderful. The wine selection was perfect. The entrees were excellent and the desserts: c'est magnifique. More recently, the salmon mousse tarlets that were prepared for a wedding shower were also fabulous.
