Great Place,
Been there probably 4-5 dozen times. Great shakes, 4$-5$ each. Unlimited complimentary tea, cold or hot (hot is great). The drinks alone are worth $5. They just remodeled the place. I think 4 large plasma tvs is just one of the great things about that place. The waitresses are really really nice people. They have been very friendly, from the first time i went there. they dress is lingerie, short skirts, tight short pants.... Oh yeah, this is a vietnamese bar but the customers are a mix of all races, white, black, mexican, mostly vietnamese those. the smoke tends to get bad at some times, but you can sit nest to the side door which opens up to an open air room with a canopy and some beautiful chairs, that place is comfortable too for people who dont cant stand smoke. Yes your clothes smell of smoke when you leave that place. 18 and over but no one checks the i.d.. no one at the front door.
Recommended: coffee smoothie rather then vietnamese coffee. smoothie has great mocha taste, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a cherry on top.

Fun place but...
A place named Cafe Di Vang 2 might make you wonder about Cafe Di Vang 1 and maybe Cafe Di Vang 3. Well... Cafe Di Vang 1, for reasons unknown to me, is now called Cafe De Thuong and it is better than DV2. It is better because the atmosphere is cleaner and the waitresses are (to me) a little more attractive and welcoming. Plus, since smoking is tolerated at all of these Vietnamese coffee houses, Cafe De Thuong has better ventilation system so my clothes didn't smell as strongly of smoke when I left. Cafe De Thuong is on the southeast corner of Magnolia and Westminster Ave (in the city of Westminster). Cafe Di Vang 3 is on the north side of Westminster Ave, a block or so east of Brookhurst. It too has a nicer atmosphere and less smoke smell than DV2 (and the complimentary glass of tea tasted better), but personally, I just prefer Cafe De Thuong. All of these places have a few things in common: They all give you a glass of iced tea when you sit down and they all feature beautiful waitresses who refill the tea glass as often as possible. They all seem to serve the same basic choices of coffee and shakes which cost $4 each. They all play Vietnamese pop music for atmosphere. As I said, they all tolerate smoking (although DV3 provided make-shift ash trays which keep the floor cleaner. They all have multiple sports playing on TV screens throughout. And they all feature the CA Lottery game called "Hot Spot." Did I mention the beautiful waitresses? If it weren't for the cigarette smoke, I might never leave.
Recommended: Try the French Coffee served light or dark to your liking

A Positive Twist on two types of bars
What do guys like to do...go to sports bars and strip clubs. Cafe Divang 2 is a sports bar, with great music, and waitress who are wearing skimpy outfits. They serve no alcohol. They serve tea, cofee, and Shakes. I had an Avocado Milkshake recommended to me by the most beautiful waitress at the establishment. I can see spending my football and baseball seasons at Cafe Divang 2.
