Always the Best!
I've been dining at Breads of India for the past four years and they consistently have the best Indian food by far. While the menu is limited everything is always incredibly fresh and delicious. Prices are very fair, with the average meal costing no more than $10. I've never had problems with the staff, and the dining area is always clean and comfortable. The only downside is that their space is rather small and often crowded...but it's worth it.

Tantalizing the Bay Area's curriati
After scouring India for forgotten recipes (and completing an MBA at UC Berkeley), owner Rohit Singh began tantalizing the Bay Area's curriati with sublime curries and naan, parathas and other delectable homemade breads. There's always a wait at his cozy, unpretentious restaurant - come prepared to share a table. The interior is spartan and a bit cramped, but the warm atmosphere is inviting. The limited menu changes daily, but always includes two free range chicken choices, a tender Niman Ranch lamb option and two creative vegetarian offerings (with an occasional weekend seafood selection). Dishes, such as the kesaria muragh tikka with mint chutney ($10.95), come with a generous portion of Basmati rice and a crisp green salad. The service is attentive but never hurried and the ingredients are top quality. Try a combination plate, and by all means leave room for a thick mango lassi ($2) or exotic gulab jamun ($2.50).
