Great cuisine,Decent wine list
A perfect fit for East town, great food, premium beer, good wine list at very reasonable prices! No shortcuts in the cooking! Can always see the chef working on his sauces, being Indian myself, I can understand what he is doing, no frills just a very good place to eat & enjoy a drink! Unfortunately not all of us(Indians)know or understand what good quality food is all about or appreciate somebody's hard earned success! & not to mention that good service has to be tipped!

The worst indian food we have ever had!
This restaurant is totally over rated. The atmosphere is not cosy at all. The food tasted horrible. They served us the wrong dish and were claiming that this is what is should taste like. We are Indian, we have had Indian food at home, in India, London and New York so we know how Indian food should taste like and defineatly not like this. Also the prices are very high and the portions are small. We will never go back and the whole experience was a true dissapointment!!!

Suprisingly good
Actually ate here last night. It was the first time I ever tried Indian food, and was pleasantly suprised. I had this chicken dish with a tomato sauce that blew me away. Comfortable atmosphere with good service. Would reccomend it to anyone willing to try something more out there than McDonald's. Especially if your trying to show someone a little mom&pop restaurant with good food.

The best food in Grand Rapids
This place has such wonderful food I literally make moaning noises while I eat. Indian food is now my most favorite type of food because of this restaurant. I eat at Bombay at least 2 times a month.

mmm mmm good
They really know what they are doing. Everything is surprisingly delicious. Well blended spices whether hot or mild, are very unique. This place is just a tad more pulled together than the other Indian places in the area, and their beverages range from a wider selection as well. It's difficult to be disappointed in the food. It's amazing.

A Step Out of the Ordinary
Looking for something different to eat? Feeling a little bit daring? Well, if you have a little cash in your pocket (meals range in price from around 9-14 dollars), try Bombay Cuisine. An adventure in Idian cuisine, this restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and has much to offer in the way of vegetarian fare. The atmosphere is simple and laidback, no dress code necessary. There is a small bar for the few times you may have to wait for a table. One of the things I like the most about this restaurant is that the kitchen is open behind a glass wall for all to see. The food is authentically prepared and can be interesting to watch. Afraid of the exotic? This restaurant offers shishkabob-type entrees for the less expirimentally inclined. All in all, this is one of my favorite places, and I'd love to see it get some good exposure.
