A NEW TASTE
I just LOVE the orange-vanilla-swirl. One Sataurday I went to visit my friend then she told me to buy some ices. I decided to try something new so I tasted orange-vanilla-swirl. WHOA!IT TASTED SO GOOD. Now I always eat vanilla-swirl.;]

Lemon Ice King of Corona
I love their ice. My mom and I drive to Corona several times a month in the summer just to have the ice. It is so much better than Rita's or Ralph's.

Take It From Someone Who KNOWS
I've lived in Corona ALL MY LIFE and I've NEVER encountered a better Lemon Ice (aside from in Italy ofcoarse). I've found my cousin, who lives in the outskirts of Commack, LI, on line in the summer waiting for ice cream (with no intention of visiting me). I also personally know many neighborhood boys that have worked there at some point in time in their life and vouch that they use nothing but FRESH FRUITS. With so many flavors to choose from theres something for everyone. But you can never go wrong with the first choice- LEMON! ...AND its open ALL YEAR ROUND (365 days).

The best Ices I have ever eaten No other ice can compare to them they make them with real fruit and candy pieces. you can taste all of the different flavors. Lemon tastes like real lemons, cherry real cherry with cherries in the ice.

Best Ices I've Every Had
I've been going there for about 45 years. They were the best ices then and they are certainly the best ices today. I've taken dozens of people telling them that it was something special. I don't think a single person was disappointed. Most still talk about the place. Anyone that says that Lemon Ice King is not great is probably working for the competition. Buying by the quart or half gallon is a great value. We smile for a week every time we dip into the freezer. I'm partial to the fruit flavors and the Lemon is a religious experience.

Not as good but still the best
The ices are not as good as they used to be (fruit is not being used as it once was) and it has become very sweet but THE LEMON ICE KING OF CORONA is still the best.

Greatest Ices In The World!
I lived right around the corner for the first 8 years of my life. I still go back when visiting my family and I've got to have the chocolate ice. Four generations of my family grew up on the ices. I get so excited to see them on the King Of Queens during the opening of the show. The neighboorhood has changed but not the ices!

The Best Lemon Ice
My mother grew up eating the Lemon Ice King and took my brother and I there as kids. I now drive there from the border of Nassau County and Queens, which could take half an hour with all the traffic. I would rather waste my time in the car for their lemon ice over someone elses.

Going Home
I went back to Corona after 40+ years. My first stop was the Lemon Ice King. Except for the fact that the owner is older, shorter than I remember and no longer wears a large straw hat, everything else was as great as I remembered. I don't intend to be a stranger anymore. I grew up in Corona and everyday I use to walk up to the Lemon Ice King which was on the coroner of my block and get an ice. Bubble Gum was my fav, that and chocolate. I moved but everytime I go to NY that's the 1 place I want to go.

To My SURPRISE !!!
My son, Steve, with his partner, Troy, invested a few hundred dollars in a tent and a couple of freezers and bought tins of Lemon Ice King's products and started selling at church carnivals here in South Florida. This week end I went to his set up to help him for the day and was shocked at the number of people here in Florida that came up to our stand to order and commented that they knew the product and was glad to see Mr Faremo's True Italian Ices here. I am so impressed with the good responce this item got that I'm now going to invest and open up a few more sale sites here in Miami and Broward County. We gave out small sample tase cups to the folks that didn't know what it was or which flavor to order. Every single one that tasted it ordered the ices. GOOD SHOW.....

Best Ices
I live about 10 minutes from the ice king. His ices are good, fruit cocktail is the best! Im a little dissapointed with the lack of fruit in the ice. Still I love going there. It's a family affair, we stand on the corner and eat like six 80 cent ices!

They still do!!! I go to Corona to see Pete and the boys every time I'm in NY. No matter where I am... I go see there guys. To those that say there is not real fruit in the ice are not tasting ice from this place! For years now I have always stuck to lemon but my last trip I tried raspberry and it was full of real fruit. I'm not a "fruit lover" so what do I know... if it was fake fruit... you sure fooled me!!! I have this stuff shipped to me in Florida... go figure! The best damn ice period!

Lemon Ice King of Corona
The best. Great natural ingredients bring about a true natural taste. Texture is great. No ice crystals like the dreaded Marino's ice. Perhaps a 2nd location? A very good 2nd is Crispino's on 35th Ave & 203rd Street in Bayside.
