Best meal of the year
Avenue Bistro now has Melissa Kelly as chef. I had dinner there last week, and can honestly say that it was the best meal I have had all year. The food was perfectly prepared, excellent ingredients used, and presentation was great as well. I particularly recommend the skate appetizer, which was seared to perfection, and reminiscent of the cooking of a great bistro in Paris. Wine list was excellent, and well priced.

Superb cooking in great setting
The updated decor and new menu have repositioned the former Avenue into a delightful dining experience in a nouveau setting. Christina Kelly's varied menu hits the taste butts with great precision and the menu is varied and interesting with some fusion elements. The wine list is not run of the mill and contains some unique properties at reasonable prices.
