This is a neighborhood Italian American restaurant. I have gone there for years as I live nearby. Do not mistake this for true Italian food, which you will not get anywhere in the San Gabriel Valley as far as I know. Pasta is not the main course in real Italian food, nor does it come swimming in sauce but with a small amount of sauce more like a garnish. Americans accustomed to the Italian American method are often disappointed by the real thing, so if a lot of sauce is what you are used to, you won't be disappointed at Angelo's. Do not expect your pasta al dente. It is cooked in batches, not to order. Do not expect inventive fresh vegetable dishes. Do not expect fresh baked bread. It's a spaghetti house, nothing more, but that much said, it's tasty and the portions are huge. I prefer the tomato basil garlic sauce, which is made with fresh tomatoes and fresh basil.

Angelo's Pizza
Angel's pizza is one the best pizzas on the west coast. I have eaten at at least 100 italian restuarants from california to florida and when in LA, Angelo's is always worth a stop. Their small pizza is the size of everybody else's large and you never have to ask for extra toppings or cheese. A real work of ART!!!!!!!

Excellent Italian
This is teh best itallian food that I have ever eaten. Whats good about angelos is that they give you a very generous portion and not your usual poor quality food in massive amounts, but instead, GREAT food with GREAT portions. It is definately a good restraunt to go to. The owner is 100% authentic Italian, thats all i need to say.
