Weird Jealousy
My wife an I used to frequent Anarbagh regularly and truly enjoyed our little, almost weekly, trips to India. We have recommended Anarbagh to dozens of families and they all became regulars.

I am compelled to write this review because of the way my wife and I have been treated.

Since the birth of our child we haven't eaten out as much as we used to. Because it is hard to eat out with a baby and we wanted to try cooking at home to help save some money and create a nice home life for our child. On my wifes birthday we visited Anarbagh for a special night out, we even brought our baby with us. The very first thing that was said to us was "we don't see you anymore" so we explained, pointing out our lovely new child. We expected a giggle and that would be that but the answer apparently wasn't the right one. He repeated the question and so did all the people that waited on us. We felt uneasy and after the meal left with a foul taste in our mouths.

We have visited again on occassion with friends and have received very cold and uncomfortable confrontations. We have gathered that one of the employees saw us at another Indian restaurant and apparently this is a punishable offence. They confronted us blatently with venom and made our company feel uncomfortable also.

We are very hurt by this behavior and think that the United States is no place for this jealous behavior.

We will never eat there again.

The food is fine. It is nothing special or fancy and is bland tasting. If you want real Indian food in Woodland Hills go to India Sweets & Spices or for excellent Sri Lankan food go to The Curry Bowl. I have nothing to do with these restaurants other than I like their food.

Great Restaurant
I hesitate to tell all of you how great this place is. Rarely do you have to wait to sit down, and the staff really does remember you. If you go there as regularly as my boyfriend and I, they even give you a 15% off card!! Amazing food and great atmosphere. A+!!!

BAD SERVICE!!!
The worst Indian restaurant I have been to in the Los Angeles area. Not only was the food cold, the service was even colder!

BEST INDIAN IN THE VALLEY!!
I've tried them all and Anarbagh comes out on top every time. The staff will remember you each time you visit and give you a discount, often free dishes if you become a regular!! Try the 'Yeti' beer, it takes the bite out of the vindiloo.
Recommended: Fish mango masala, shrimp coconut curry, chicken mahkani

My sweetheart brought me here several months ago, and I loved it. I especially love the chicken makhani, samosas, and sag paneer. Yum. Not only is the food wonderful, but the staff is friendly (and they remember us every time we walk in and even when we call on the phone!). The location and ambience could be better, but the food quality and taste more than makes up for it. I recommend it.

excellent value for money.
I have to admit, I'm biased. I love this restaurant. The staff are some of the friendliest people around, and the food is generally fantastic. In fact, the worst I could say about the place is that sometimes on extremely busy nights it's hard to get good service. I have been to Anarbagh many times and there have been only a few occasions where the food was less than excellent. Of the Indian culinary establishments in Los Angeles, Anarbagh offers exceptionally good quality, and value for money. I've enjoyed most of their extensive menu over the years. They have some nice Indian beers available as well, I find "Taj Mahal" goes down a treat alongside a fierce curry. Just go eat there. You'll like it.

Indian food for everyone
Every item I have tried so far has been great. The owners are wonderful. Amazingly, they remembered us on our second vist months later. This is the only place I bother to go for Indian food. They have plenty of vegetarian dishes too.
