Best Food in Sydney, Too Bad About the Ambiance
If you can get past the ringing and dinging of a thousand slot machines near by, inside the All Star Grille you'll find some of the best food in Sydney at very good prices. The dining room is very much like a diner, however the food is straight out of a high end restaurant. The service is hit or miss, depending on how busy it is, at peak times they are frequently under staffed. However the food always makes up for it. Portions are more than ample, one order of potato skins are enough to feed a table of 4, entrees are always generous. The food itself may be very affordable, the key is trying to get in and out without sinking $20 into one of the many slot machines between the door and the dining room. Of course since it lies within a casino, you cannot take children or even teenagers with you, which limits its availablity to families. However it also means no screaming children running around.
Recommended: potato skins, club house sandwich, Thai chicken, shrimp stir-fry, fish and chips
