It isn't as good as it was. They changed the hot dogs and now server rice and other stuff... Caspers beats Aggies for hot dogs.....

My mother worked for George at Aggie's back in 1960's & early '70's. As a child I used to go visit her there and just loved George and the food. I have often thought about those great cheeseburgers and wish I could have one now. George was a wonderful guy and would let my mother bring us home burgers when she got off work. There just aren't places like this anymore. I hope whomever owns Aggie's now has carried the same atmosphere and personality George did. I now live in the South. If I ever return to Hayward, California I will definitely visit Aggie's.

The Best Hamburger On The Planet
Aggie's, named for its original owner, George Aggie, who came from Greece, has made the best hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hotdogs on the planet since opening its doors back in the late 1950s early 1960s. I remember George placing me on a wooden box and giving me a nickle to play the pinball machine! He was such a sweet guy and a great cook! I am sure glad Aggie's is still around - God Bless You George!
