I have been going to the Acapulco since 1960 (50 years). The food is excellent and not too spicy for me so I am able to eat the food and not suffer after wards (hot spicy food is a killer for me) if anyone wants spicy food they can put the hot salsa on their food and that way all can enjoy the food and not certain people. I get the 1/2 taco or 1/2 tostada dinner (ground beef, excellent). I am never hungry when I leave as the portion's are large and you get your money's worth. I have had excellent service every time I have gone and they make me feel at home and make sure I get what I ordered and how I wanted it prepared. I have never been disappointed in all the time I have been going and I go at least once a week or as often as I can since I have to go from San Leandro. I have recommended many of my friends to go and enjoy themselves. I have tried La Pinta but not my favorite. The don't have ground beef and that is my favorite meat for the food. The beef at the La Pinta is not that tender. Most of the time I have to chew and chew and chew before I am able to swallow it. See you there.

Distinctive & Satisfying Mexican while reasonable
50+ years of family ownership has earned wide recognition and dedicated customer loyalty. Delicious sauces and large portions. BUT, this food doesn't taste like the Mexican food you expect. It has a rich full flavored character that makes most brand name Mexican restaurant's specialties watery by comparison. Distinctive and if you like watery food, skip it.
